Simmerly is a small, handmade business built on a simple idea: your home should smell as beautiful as it looks — and it shouldn't take chemicals to get there.
It started at my grandmother's kitchen table
Growing up, my grandmother always had a pot simmering on the stove. Citrus peels, a sprig of rosemary, maybe a cinnamon stick. She called it her "secret" — the thing that made guests walk in and immediately feel at home.
I spent years trying to recreate that feeling with candles and air fresheners. They never quite got there. Too artificial. Too strong. Nothing like the real thing.
So I started making my own simmer pot blends — drying fruits, sourcing herbs, testing combinations until each one felt exactly right. Friends started asking for them. Then neighbors. Then it became Simmerly.
Every kit I sell is still made by hand, in small batches, the same way I made those first ones. The only difference is I've gotten a lot better at it.
